Agreement Ensures Fast and Consistent Connection Times for Customer Service Callers

TransPerfect Translations, one of the world’s largest providers of international communications services, and etrials® Worldwide, Inc. (Nasdaq: ETWC, ETWCW, ETWCU), a leading provider of eClinical software and services that optimize clinical trial management and accelerate time-to-market, today announced they have entered into an agreement that provides over-the-phone interpretation services to international etrials customers.
The 18-month contract names TransPerfect as the sole language services provider. Service level agreements have been added to ensure fast and consistent connection times for etrials callers.

"TransPerfect's services guarantee international callers are connected to a skilled and efficient interpreter who can ensure service levels are not compromised and each party's needs are met."
This new agreement provides etrials’ customers with:
- Access to interpreters with oral and written proficiency in both English and the target language, who are able to provide consecutive interpretation without altering, adding or omitting anything from the original message
- Access to interpreters who can provide a word picture or description when lack of equivalency exists for a particular concept or term
- A two-minute service level agreement for German, French, Italian, Polish, Russian and Spanish, that can be extended to include additional languages, ensures callers are connected with interpreters in under two minutes during anticipated traffic schedules
