TransPerfect, one of the world’s leading providers of global language and business services, plans to open a new remote interpreting facility in south Tempe that will add 300 skilled positions to the company’s workforce.
The 14,000 square foot facility will be at 1735 W. Greentree Drive, Suite 101.

With annual revenue of more than $250 million, TransPerfect is the largest privately held language services provider in the world.
TransPerfect Remote Interpreting is the world’s only provider of remote interpreting services for any device, including telephone interpretation, voice-over Internet protocol, Web-based audio, Web-based video and all major video conferencing platforms.
Said Ken Anders, chief operating officer for the company’s interpreting division:
“Remote language interpreting needs continue to grow, and offering device-independent connectivity allows us to meet the diverse requirements of our clientele in a way that no other provider can. TransPerfect’s investment in new technologies will vastly improve the remote interpreting experience for our clients and their end users.”
The company will employ 150 people as interpreters, IT staff and administrators this year, with plans to increase its total staff to 300 within three years.
