TransPerfect Teams Up With Award-Winning MobiLearn To Create A New Language Learning Quiz Game

November 6, 2003 - Once again, TransPerfect Translations, one of the world's largest translation companies, has teamed up with MobiLearn, Inc. an innovative Boston, MA based start-up to create new educational software for the award-winning Pocket PC Translator series.

Using an interactive game format, The Pocket PC Language Learning Quiz Game enables English speakers to increase their vocabulary in Spanish, French, German, and Italian. The quizzes work equally well for speakers of the other languages who want to develop their English vocabulary. In addition to everyday conversation, text and audio modules on dating, cuisine, driving, and travel are available.

TransPerfect's Boston office, located at 15 Broad Street, provides teams of professional linguists-all native-speakers-to produce and verify both the written and spoken expressions contained in the quizzes. The quiz is an offshoot of the popular MobiLearn Phrasebooks series which were also produced by TransPerfect. The series was awarded Pocket PC Magazine's 2002 Best Software Award.
