TransPerfect Translations, a leading provider of language and business services for multinationals worldwide, today announced that Vice President of Sales Kevin Obarski was presented with a Stevie® Award last night at the Selling Power Sales Excellence Awards in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The awards were jointly presented by Selling Power magazine, the leading sales management publication with 145,000 subscribers in 67 countries, and The Stevie® Awards, which have been hailed as "the business world's own Oscars" (the New York Post, April 27, 2005).
More than 400 entries from companies of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration in more than 40 categories this year, including Best Run Sales Organization of the Year, National VP of Sales of the Year, and Sales Training Program of the Year.
Kevin Obarski, TransPerfect's Vice President of US Sales, was chosen over four other finalists in the category and was named National VP of Sales of the Year. Obarski has been with TransPerfect since 2001 and oversees a staff of over 70 sales professionals operating out of the company's 32 locations in North America.
