TransPerfect is the new title sponsor of the Music City Bowl.
TransPerfect bills itself as the world’s largest provider of language and technology solutions for global businesses.
Franklin American Mortgage has served as the bowl's title sponsor since 2010. The name will remain the Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl through Dec. 31.
The 22nd annual bowl will be played on Dec. 30 (3 p.m.) at Nissan Stadium between Louisville (7-5) and Mississippi State (6-6).
The agreement with TransPerfect is through 2025.
The title sponsorship coincides with the Music City Bowl's signing of a six-year agreement with the SEC and the Big Ten conferences.
The agreement was formally announced at a news conference in Nissan Stadium with Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee, Big Ten Commissioner Jim Delany, SEC Executive Associate Commissioner Mark Womack, and Music City Bowl President and CEO Scott Ramsey.
"As a lifelong college football fan, the sport is core to who I am, and what our company has become," TransPerfect President and CEO Phil Shawe said in a release. "Anyone who knows TransPerfect knows that our company philosophy is deeply rooted in competition, drive, and winning for our customers and partners — the same competition, drive, and desire to win that college athletes bring to the field every day."
TransPerfect's global headquarters is in New York.
"We are thrilled to partner with a company like TransPerfect beginning in 2020 and in the years that follow," Music City Bowl president and CEO Scott Ramsey said. "Next year begins a new chapter for our bowl game. We're looking forward to providing players and fans from both conferences the best experience during bowl season throughout the year."
