GlobalLink NEXT 2016 Conference Highlights
When we first launched GlobalLink, we knew what a powerful tool it would be, changing the face of localization for thousands of organizations seeking innovative solutions to extend their global footprint. But the truth is, we had no idea how influential the GlobalLink community had become until our recent user conference, GlobalLink NEXT 2016.
Last month, we organized the second annual GlobalLink NEXT conference as part of the Global Content Forum Series. Set in the modern and luxurious St. Regis Hotel in the tech hub of San Francisco, over 200 executives, staff, and most importantly, fellow GlobalLink users from around the globe gathered together for a two-day conference hosted by Translations.com.
At the Monday evening welcome reception at Yerba Buena Terrace, attendees, speakers, and staff networked with one another over sushi, tacos, sliders, and fine California wine and spirits. The perfect way to fuel up for a great conference ahead.
After opening remarks from Co-CEO Phil Shawe and Chief Technology Officer Mark Hagerty, VP of Content Solutions Matt Hauser kicked off the conference sessions by outlining the overall GlobaLink vision. We then moved into our first keynote presentation on digital transformation by Jeff Berg from 3M.

What our attendees had to say...
"My favorite part of GlobalLink NEXT is right in the name itself—what's next! I love seeing the technology roadmap for new enhancements and the vision for where the team is taking the technology next. I also really like the access that we as clients have to the teams architecting and developing the next stages, to give them feedback and ideas, and help be a part of the crafting process. Lastly, I really enjoy networking with other clients and talking with them about what they do and challenges they've overcome. I always learn a ton from the Translations.com and TransPerfect team as well as other clients every time I'm there."
Jeremy Fennema, VP Internet Services, Shop.com
"GlobalLink NEXT 2016 was a great conference! I was able to meet Translations.com employees that I had worked with via email or phone. Making that personal connection was a huge plus. I was also able to effectively network with peers and make some good connections. The content which was provided on the products my company uses was useful and relevant to me. Overall, I had a great experience and would love to attend again."
Trina Bradford, Manager Business Integration, Web Operations, Nu Skin Enterprises.
"GlobalLink NEXT is a great opportunity to get insight on the product, to network and to compare notes with other clients. Overall a great investment!"
Matteo Togni, Marketing Communications Project Manager, AutoNation, Inc.
